Account Safety Guide
Keep your LinkedIn account safe while running automated outreach. A practical guide for new and experienced users alike.
Start with the Warm-Up feature
Before running any campaign, enable Salesrobot's Account Warm-Up. This gradually increases your daily activity from 10–15 actions to the full 75 over 4–6 weeks. New accounts or accounts not previously used for automation should always warm up before scaling.
Respect daily action limits
LinkedIn monitors the volume and pattern of account activity. Salesrobot automatically enforces safe caps (75 connection requests/day, 75 DMs/day, 40–50 InMails/day). Never attempt to override these limits — the incremental gains are not worth the account restriction risk.
Use residential IPs, not data center IPs
Salesrobot assigns a dedicated residential IP to each connected account by default. If you choose to use a custom proxy, ensure it is a residential IP from a reputable provider. Data center IPs (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.) are heavily flagged by LinkedIn's security systems.
Reconnecting a disconnected account
If your account disconnects (usually after a LinkedIn password change or security update), navigate to Accounts in your dashboard, click the three-dot menu, and select "Reconnect." Do not leave a disconnected account without reconnecting — Salesrobot will pause campaigns automatically, but prolonged disconnection can affect account health.
What to do if LinkedIn restricts your account
A restriction usually appears as a requirement to verify your identity via email or phone. Complete the verification immediately. Pause all Salesrobot campaigns for 48–72 hours. Reduce your daily action limits by 50% after resuming. If restrictions persist or worsen, contact Salesrobot support.
Message quality matters
Technical safety is only half the equation. High complaint rates (recipients marking messages as spam) trigger LinkedIn manual reviews regardless of your technical setup. Ensure your connection request notes and opening messages are relevant, personalized, and professionally appropriate.
